Yes, TT, not a very friendly friendly.
We scored on 4 mins - before the poor girl had sold all her golden goal tickets.
It rained.
We created some good chances in the first half to increase the lead & Cooper pulled off a good save as their No.9 tried to go round him with the goal at his mercy.
Then Pritch got his red&white striped handbag out & Rammy’s manager got his blue one out. They battered each other about their funny bones with their handbags and just before the mascara started to run they agreed to put the bags away (although the Rammy manager didn’t take too kindly to the Pritch cuddle as the half-time whistle went.
The second half started again in lovely sunshine and as James the red engine went back to Bury on the East Lancs Railway (it was a Days out with Thomas weekend) their No.9 went in rather over-zealously into the back of Danny Andrews and off the referee sent him. Shame it wasn’t a couple of minutes earlier or he could have gone off to see Thomas at Bury. Pritch then wanted the ref to allow a replacement for the player sent off to even up numbers. Hope he never jails a thief - he want one released to compensate! I think we need practice against 10 men as we sometimes suffer with that situation.
We then got a penalty for a blatant push in Paul Booth’s back and Stott cooly flicked the pen down the middle as the keeper went t’other way (like that Italian did versus England (what was his name?)
Sprucie appeared in the second half, rather pi$$ed having spent the first period in the cricket pavilion (in order to miss being hit by Pritch’s handbag methinks) and he continued to watch the game with his back to the pitch!
Connors then missed an opportunity from an inch and a half (although the Assistant raised his flag 3 mins later to give him offside and save his blushes) before Stott (who else) scored a deflected third after it looked like Sheehan had been shot by a passing sniper in a steam train just outside the penalty area.
In between all this fun they scored a deserved goal when the No.10 chipped Cooper from the edge of the box.
To sum it up - I hate friendlies.
GE
Oh - and there were 22 Wittoners in attendance.

Dirk Kuyt would’ve buried that.

Would Andy Carroll have struggled?
Sounds like a good win, unusual to have a friendly v a team in your league but I can see the sense in it as we wind up our preparations, will catch the next round tomorrow v newcastle and hope we continue to compete well at this level.
Another win in a very good pre-season so far.
UTA
They aren’t in our league they are Evo Stik D1 north
Not sure you can play anyone in your league at this level. You can at Step 5
