How is their virtual stadium coming along? Listening to the radio last night I heard a promise of a JR appearance but maybe his virtual phone was not available! Maybe his service provider only gives him 95% coverage and it just dipped out at the wrong time. By his own admission he is just a layman and he doesn’t know all the ins and outs! They’re playing a friendly tomorrow at Flixton against Ashton, with free entry. Is this some sort of effort to demonstrate to the league or FA the desire for local football in the area? Or to fulfill a contractual demand? No idea tbh, just seems very fishy.
