How is their virtual stadium coming along? Listening to the radio last night I heard a promise of a JR appearance but maybe his virtual phone was not available! Maybe his service provider only gives him 95% coverage and it just dipped out at the wrong time. By his own admission he is just a layman and he doesn’t know all the ins and outs! What I find amusing is he has someone who apparently knows the in and outs of a certain governing body who advised that Cas ( which in the main was set up with sentencing to do with drug doping in sport) before they went back to the main governing body. Just seems a case of the blind leading the blind. Should be a very interesting few months with the trust previously indicating no new club unless the old one dies. Can’t see the main club going anytime soon and I bet all the villa players are on dual reg forms to step in when required. At the moment the situation reminds me so much of what happened to Runcorn when one man wouldn’t let go
Well they appear to be goin in the right direction. 86 to 92! if my maths are correct thats a % increase of just under 7%. Not bad you may add? But wait a minute 92 paying say an average of £7 gives £644. Take off the cost to play at Stafford and the fees of the officials it leaves just about the square root of f*&k all to pay for an away match next week at god knows where? SBL
They’re playing a friendly tomorrow at Flixton against Ashton, with free entry. Is this some sort of effort to demonstrate to the league or FA the desire for local football in the area? Or to fulfill a contractual demand? No idea tbh, just seems very fishy.
Strong rumour amongst the v*cs fans is that Northwich Victoria will be Flixton Victoria within the next couple of seasons, if not next. Its Rushe’s stomping ground, he’s trying his best to get them at Flixton asap
