Representatives from The Joshua Tree charity will be attending Tuesday’s game as guests of the Club.
We will be presenting the monies raised from the Tony Waterman Trophy game before kick off - members of Tony’s family will also be attending.
Being positive, we were only just beaten by a good team with lots of pace up front. I thought that going forward there was a good combination of long passing and one touch combinations. At least half the team can be satisfied with their performances. However, Ben and Marc had to spend a lot of time covering for absent full backs who drifted away from who they should have been marking. We also seemed to be very shot shy in the 2nd half - you can’t expect to walk the ball in. But for a team short of confidence and vital players that had to accommodate new players I didn’t think we did that badly.
