Versus Worksop

Any score? Stuck at an 80th Birthday party and won’t even get to see France V England live which for those that know me maens a double disaster!! (Snook onto my Table to send this…)
WHS.

One down at half time, but Powell just equalised.

2 - 1 up, Hancock.

Worksop equalised in the 94th minute. Final score 2 - 2.

We wouldn’t Be in the situation we’re in if we could just see the game out!!

.veryangry

Thought we deserved to win today but we just always look like conceding. Even when we’re in control and on top of a game, we still look vulnerable and liable to concede one.

Had a chance just before the equaliser that was ruled offside. Looked on to me but im not inline, and probably biased.

ffs.

Aggravated Robbery ie Robbery with violence today gutted.
Match officials are often castigated for no reasons at all, one may say todays incumbent should be castrated, however I believe those items were missing before he officiated today.

The windy conditions played a big part, but I thought we adapted better than them and bossed most of the 2nd half. But, all that playing to final whistle stuff applies again to our team. I did think the 2nd half performance was really gutsy, especially from Powell and Andrews. Gutting that Frickley won, but we’re still well placed to escape.

Well played boys.

Match played in awful conditions with grateful thanks to the ground staff that it was possible.
we were robbed of 3 points by inept officials .The opposition could have been playing with 9 men .
1 point is 1 point gained and we need another 14 .
UTA.

Gutted with way things played out today but to get a point against 4th in the league was excellent. We were the better side in the 2nd half too but they were able to bring a player on who has scored 31 league goals this season!! The effort in the 2nd half was fantastic and we battled for every ball, it was just a shame we switched off for a few seconds…But overall I was proud of the way we played.

Good performance especially second half.Josh Hancocks goal was a screamer and was the end product of a great passing move. The whole team really took the game to Worksop, although they did look a threat counter attacking during the second half.I think by the way we go at teams at home will see us ok.

I thought the linesman was ok on the popular side,he has officiated against my lads team a couple of times last season and is quite a character. The other fella in front of the main stand, well enough said.

Says it all when the usually calm Mark Harris is dragged away from the ref by Pritch!
Worksop should play rugby league and the ref should do one! :red

Witton team:

Matt Cooper, Anthony Gardner, Alistair Brown, Ben Harrison, Rob Bodie, Martyn Jackson, Josh Hancock, Jonathan Breeze, Scott Bakkor, Michael Powell, Danny Andrews.

Subs: Jon Dawson, Joshua Crofts, Neville Thompson, Cliff Moyo, Stuart Plant.

Disappointed but not downhearted probably sums up yesterday for me, I thought we were much the better team throughout once they lost the wind 2nd half they had nothing as the long ball was lost. Bakkor was MoM for me never stopped running and battling with to be fair 6ft plus monsters they had at centre half, can’t wait to see him up top with Walker

The referee was a tosser how their centre half didn’t walk for taking Bakkor out off the ball, who assess these d**k heads?

Gutted, after the game it felt like we had lost. They were a big raunchin bunch of gobbie donkeys, but must be doing something right to be in a play off place. Maybe they just out muscle teams? I wouldn’t like to watch that every week! SBL

disappointing end to a game we should have won against a team who can only be described as thugs. we weren’t helped by a gutless referee, by letting them get away with nigh on murder.however it was an exvellent 2nd half display from us, with all eleven players putting in 110%. we were the only team playing football, all they were interested in doing was punting the ball forward and hoping for the best. this team can play football and should do more often after yesterday, they must gain confidence in the manner in which they tore worksop to shreds at times.
if we play like that we will surely stay up and be in a position to mount a better campaign next season.we, the fans can play our part by getting down to the h4h stadium and really cheering for the reds. let’s see a few more fans at the remaining games.

To all the “Techies”, Josh’s screamer is on u tube but i don’t know how to put it on here!!! SBL :goal
