I was wondering if any of you boffins could tell me if it is possible to download the goals off the main site onto a mobile phone? if so how… just want to show a few people how well we are doing, it might just help to twist a few arms into going down on Boxing day
Picko, you can find some freeware software by googling for ‘wmv file download’ software. Find something like this and install it on your PC. They if you right click on a video on the web page you will find the ‘properties’ for the file, in other words the direct address of the file which is embedded into the web page.
In this example the web page address is http://www.wittonalbionfc.com/play.php?fixture_id=71 but the video within it is http://www.wittonalbionfc.com/uploads/matchvideo/71/Sequence 02.wmv
Does that all make sense or am I talking Chinese?
The only note is that clearly the video copyright belongs to the videographer and the club, but so far as you are not using them for commercial purposes I doubt they would have major problems. They however are the only ones that could grant ‘permission’
