A good 2-1 win over Runcorn, Alex Titchener started up front playing the 1st 45 with Newman hope we can sign him up, very competetive game even 1st half with witton i think better in the second half, a few careless mistakes here and there on a very hot day for footie, runcorn acquitted themselves well and will do well in there league, attendance 170 well done to the walkers from witton & runcorn today must have been tiring in that heat. goals from Newman and Hancock winning the match for the reds.
Well done CJ! lol I thought we started slowly today, and it took a fantastic strike for Runcorns goal to kick start us into action, I was inpressed with Clampit? in midfield and again when he moved into defence, which before that looked a little suspect. Was very inpresssed with Titch again hope we can hang onto him and I also thought James had a good game in midfield going the ‘unnoticed’ work allowing others to play. Looking at Runcorns preseason so far and the fact they are starting their season next week hence playing the first choice eleven for an hour another decent result.
Pre-season friendlies or not, winning is a nice habit to get into.

More positive report from you CJ ! Just need to improve your spelling and you will be there !
You are a “Picky Begger” Eli!!
WHS.
I think you’ll find it’s b-e-g-g-A-r!
No spell checker on here Eli, lifes a bitch !
Dodger, I originally wrote "bu…er, thought better of it and changed it to “begger” without changing the e to an a; sorry to eveyone who thinks spelling is important but as the greatest writer in the English Language, Willaim Shakespeare himself spelt his name in at least four different ways I personally don’t think it matters that much, nice to get it right but not vital most of the time; received, or recieved, you still know what I mean.

I notice that the official report re the Runcorn game gave Anthony Gardner MOM. I totally agree. I thought that he had a really good game. He was a good player when he represented the County A couple of years ago but has grown in stature and confidence since then. I don’t see many wingers go past him. Any views out there? SBL
Yes I like him, was glad to see him back this season, good touch, good pace strong in the tackle and gets forward as well, with matt woods at left back improving all the time ( remember he is a converted winger ) we look very good at full backs.
Like I said, 3-5-3 would suit us, we shoud give it a go, what do you think Pritch and Mike?
WHS.
3-5-3 i dont think i have seen that line up tried yet.
CJ,
I think MattY Wood has Left to join Droylsden.
Sorry Tonnee I meant of course 3-5-2. If Matt Woods has gone he wll be a big loss.
