That’ll do the confidence levels a power of good. After a scrappy start I thought we were comfortable for most of the game, and in the 2nd half were rolling forward with ease. They didn’t give our defence much to do apart from a couple of flurries around their goal. Our fitness, as ever, was really good and 2 of the 4 goals were classy. Gards was immense, with about 5 storming 50 yard runs, and Powell got everywhere -their link up for the 2nd was a joy!
I noticed Dave Walker hiding behind a grown-out Movember beard. If we can get him back soon then his guile and coolness in front of goal will be a great bonus.

Apparentlyy there is a u tube clip somewhere? My MoM was Gards. One excellent display. Someone said SPS were a poor side and they were BUT it could have easily been 3 3 half way through the second half. They missed 1 chance in particular which was harder to miss than score!!! Really enjoyable performance yesterday - back to our free-flowing best at times.
The squad we have now i think is a good squad at this level, i have every faith we’ll soon start climbing the table.

Another top video by Alex Miller. On looking at the goals again powelly did really well to put it away after a huge bobble and both of Danny’s goals were taken superbly.
Second what everyone has said so far. Gards was superb but brown didn’t put a foot wrong either. The midfield looked solid with breeze and powell breaking up a lot of their play and jackson looking busy too. Simm looks hungry up top and never seems to stop making runs and chasing balls down.
I think Pritch was as frustrated as the fans for the lack of willingness to shoot on goal when in decent positions but hopefully that will change with some form and confidence.
Hopefully the start of a decent run of form as we he have some tough games coming up.

Great to get back down to Wincham Park, and even better to see us get back to playing with confidence, all been said regarding the game but for me I thought Powell was brilliant again and he didn’t even get booked 
2 points off Frickley with four games in hand not a bad situation really and we have Bakkor back now it’s all starting to look up for 2014 UTA!
