At last a home game, team selection will be harder with new arrivals and Rainford back from suspension, think I would go with ~
Porter
Gards. Barnes. Ben. Shaw. Corbett
Danny. Clark. Dawson
Titch. Henders
Suspect it might not be that though with Joe Shaw, Rainford, Obrien and the other new signings vying for a start slot, I guess it depends on who’s been impressing in training as well !

5 across the back can be an attacking formation as it allows both full backs to go forward down the flanks in support of attacks or even starting attacks. With a back four if a full back commits to going forward and we lose the ball we leave a big hole that the other team can exploit. Personally I would go 5-4-2 but the ref might spot it.
