Vs Stourbridge

Well back to just football, this will be another tough game, given we are still 15 points of our survival target of 50 points we probably need to win this one hard to pick the team after Saturdays lacklustre performance for me ! Given Corbett and Gards are still out and Fowler injured my team would be :

Robertson

Roddan. Barnes. Goulding.Shaw

Andrews. Clark. Shawe. Dawson

Titch. Rainford

Swift.Molina.Simpson.Ofari.Parker.

Hard one to pick and it feels really short in a few areas but its the best I can do might even keep JA happy being 4-4-2 ha ha.

Don’t know if I will ever be happy  but 4-4-2 is the English football way, roll on Tuesday

Jon Shaw told me on Saturday that we will win at home on Tuesday. I don’t share his optimism tbh but I hope he’s right. There’s only so long we can say “we need to start picking up points now” before its too late.

I believe we have a good chance tomorrow, at Stourbridge only 2 months ago we made them look like Barcelona but lately there struggling for form and haven’t won in the last 6 games.
If there 6’6 defender who looks just like Audley Harrison is playing i think we can forget the hoofing the ball forward as our short strikers wont touch the ball

Agree with your XI there CJ (we don’t have many other options!), but that group of players might actually be more suited to the 3 5 2 system we got some joy with before Christmas (sorry Jonny!).

Think the 11 is the best of what we have and it could well go 3-5-2 with Roddan and Dawson at wing backs ? I wouldn’t mind either way tbh.

I just hope we attack whatever formation we play, can’t afford to sit back and hope the long ball works, need 3 points that’s for sure

Titch simply has to start tonight and we need to get Danny Andrews in places where he can effect the game, not stuck out on the left wing.

We usually raise our game against the better sides so hopefully this is one of those cases!

There’s 2 must win games tonight.

We cannot afford to lose (or draw really) and we need Barwell to beat Frickley.

Andrew Simpson has just announced on twitter that Tom Schofield has re-signed for us from Curzon and is available for tonight’s match.

What a midfielder??? Are you sure he can’t play up front!!

Good signing, always rated him. Gives us a bit of height in midfield too.

Hopefully he can put a tackle in though, as that’s what we seemed to lack on Saturday!

Welcome back Schoey.

Made up with that signing agreed thought he was good last time around, but we had a very strong midfield then, good to have you back Schoey

Yes I liked him too, should be better still now got some more experience under his belt- good signing.
