1 up Sheehan
2 - 0, Wood.
2 up Wood
Tuck, 3 - 0, surely that seals it!
Finished 4-1. Tuck got the 4th after we conceded.
I thought we played well throughout the game and and if it had finished 6 or 7 BSPFC couldn’t have complained. I can’t think of a nother effort they had other than the one they scored with! A good effort after last week’s disappointments.I was expecting a tough game but the Albs won at a canter in the end.

Sheer professional display full of energy and brilliant football.Loved it and enjoyed every minute.

WEM-BER-LEY!!!
I thought it was a great change of formation today, and I am just a bit gutted we didn’t get the clean sheet it deserved. I wont state on here what the formation was, and what it was changed to, as many opposition managers read our forum to pick up tips and ideas.
I thought the 2-1-7 formation worked pretty well… whoops
I thought it was 1-1-8,1-1-8 .
OK, so thats £116,800 in the coffers if my maths are correct? Enjoyed game today. Excellent move led to first goal, and a great solo effort by Ashley Cole (sorry meant Matt Woods) - but wouldn’t swap! Good team performance as well. +++++ The might Yids won. Oh when the spurs!!! SBL :clap
Strange how the penalty decision in the league game, over which there were no complaints from Blyth at the time, has now turned in to a ‘controversial’ one
Yesterday’s game required a performance after last Saturday and the supporters got one. The tactical changes were spot on for me, allowing certain players to express themselves a little more. Well done lads.
I’ve written a match report here. The blog has had a revamp! B)

Glad to see Glover starting, really rate him. Not sure if midfield is where i would have started him, but obviously the ends justified the means.
Sheenz looked liked the player that walked away with Players’ and Manager’s player of the season last year - back to his best!
The new system obviously freed him and Fallon up.
Stott was immense in my opinion. Worked tirelessly and was totally unselfish. It can be an unrewarding role to play uptop on your own, and he did it really well. Tuck reaped the benefit when he came on to face a tiring back line.
A quick word for the departing Mark Buchan. Can’t fault the lad’s committment and dedication. If we had had a few more like Mark in recent years i don’t think it would have taken us as long to get back to this level. Unlucky that he was up against some top-quality players in his quest for a first team place. Leaves the club with all of our best wishes i am sure. Good luck Mark.
