Witton winning 3-0 at 21.15pm
The Witton Board have received an official complaint from the British Pharmaceutical Industry; apparently over 200 Wittoners are no longer taking their Blood Pressure Tablets and it is costing them a fortune!!!

a very good performance, some really excellent football. what a team. the commitment from this squad is phenominal, a credit to pritch and mose. how we only won by 3 is unbelievable, we should have at least doubled the score, the only reason we didn’t was down to some good goalkeeping, good defending, and not taking the chances we created. we must put these missed chances away against barrow. but if we play like this on saturday there is no reason why we can’t get through to the next round. my mom has got to be titch because of his running , his class and his effort for the cause, but what a team we are becoming. so come on all you reds get down to the hfh stadium on saturday for what is the biggest game in years for this great club.
I agree with every word!!

Just read the report on the official website…superb writing! Whoever does that report should write a book about Witton Albion. He has such a way with words
I would just like to thank Pritch, Mike et al for making me smile. It is such a pleasure to watch the way the team play. Yes it’s nice we are so successful but it is the style of play that is the most pleasing it is almost like watching Barcelona at times. Every one makes themselves available when we have the ball, no one hides, and every player works his socks off to get the ball back when we lose it. I was particularly impressed by the way the player himself and the team reacted when Matty Woods made a hash of a back pass, no moaning, no recriminations just getting on with sorting out the problem, wonderful to see.

I am sure Andy Simpson of the Guardian will be flattered Thatch, as its his match report!
Fantastic performance once again.
Could easily have been double figues - but how often have we said that recently!!
Special mention for Jamie Red Stripe, his work rate is outstanding. Such an asset to be bringing off the bench.
That was one of the most entertaining and enjoyable 90 minutes of football played by a Witton Albion team that I have seen.
Who would have thought that a rough arse, committed centre half could create a team that plays with such finesse!!!
To paraphrase £8.50 isn’t enough for this type of football!
Only joking, the key to it all is commitment, by every player and member of the management team. At long last the people who work so hard for this club in so many capacities are seeing their efforts replicated on the field, by a group of lads who are committed, hungry and bloody talented.
You’ve done us proud thus far - GO OUT SATURDAY ENJOY IT, BELIEVE AND MAKE US EVEN PROUDER!!

I’m so moved by what “Little Chad” Andy Chadwick has said. I can only wholeheartdly agree with everything said. I’ve always thought behind Pritch’s exterior that there lurked a really intelligent guy so its no surprise to me that he is growing successfully into the football managers job. Obviously there will come a time when we will go through a bad patch which will test his powers further. The one big thing with Pritch and the rest of the managerial team is though that when this happens they’ll work hard and will have the talent and integrity to sort it out and we’ll come through.
I enjoyed the Jim Vince days because we played with flair and were relatively successful but failed at the last hurdle because Jim could not accept that sometimes skill is not enough as you need bottle as well. I’m enjoying this more now because we are playing with flair with the big difference being that these lads playing for us don’t “Bottle” at the first sign of the other team being more physical. They simply work harder for each other and don’t give up. I can’t single out a player because to my mind everyone in the squad has been brilliant including those lads who have come in and are recognised more as Squad players rather than automatic choices. To all our players I’m proud of all of you. Thanks for playing for us long may it continue and keep it going for us. Its a tall order Saturday but then again it was a tall order going to Altrincham and we won there. We know you can do this so go out there and lets do this thing and be in the draw come Monday morning.
Help for Heroes!! Its Heroes helping Heroes and its brilliant!!
Excellent result last night for the boys, they really enjoyed it, very entertaining to watch all the lads come together to fight the cause.
I think Newman had one of his better games and Titch is always improving with his close ball control.
Everybody’s confidence seems sky high and the tempo of our football is a pleasure to watch.
Bring on Saturday, hopefully Matt Woods and Anthony Gardener will get involved as they did last night, with Woods especially creating some superb chances. Josh and Danny will also be a big threat with along with Sheens and Carl in the midfield.
Too many names to mention but…COME ON THE ALBS!!
If Harry gets the England job tell Pritch that there will be a vacancy at WHL but it might be a bit far for Sprucie and Pete Robinson to go to sort the pitch out! SBL
Other way around is more likely!!

You only left 3 out couldn’t you have given a mention to Coops, Ben and Boothy- and not forgetting Jamie, Deano, Schofield and Wooley (who has done a fantastic job)!
I have been absent for the last couple of weeks due to junior football commitments. To win so emphatically on the eve of Barrow coming to town speaks volumes of everything so good about our club at the moment.
The whole squad is playing well and to brush aside a Radcliffe team littered with experienced players, some of whom are very familiar bodes well for the rest of the season.
This is as good as it gets, lets hope for a few more lost ones to come back to the fold on saturday.
Excellent display, made a pretty dirty Radcliffe team look ordinary to be honest, thought they were lucky to finish with 11 men on the pitch, jamie Harrison look like a player who wants a start 11 position and has the quality to be one I would not be suprised to see him break through soon and replace one of our current wingers, not sure which one though ? leave that to pritch to sort out. well done lads aagain wa sa joy to watch.
