Warrington V Witton

Agree WHS 100 % the vince era team probably had more star players but this team is a team and will battle for the manager and its has a big heart to it which is actually more sustainable and I love it the club feels so in tune

Fantastic result and performance in the most trying of conditions. The opening twenty minutes reminded me of a scene from a Martin Scorcese Mafia film. The way both teams defensive play panned out were worlds apart.

I do not believe in slagging off the opposition whom could play football to a better standard than myself, but this is an exception,Town were an absolute discrace. If that was the best approach their management team could formulate then it is time to call it a day.Lets spend Boxing Day in the pub and later on a brawl in the car park.

This was a terrible advert for the league but at last the true football team triumphed.

Agree with most that has been said about this game. Warrington were a disgrace which is a shame as the off field guys I spoke to were polite and ok. The Vince team would have struggled and may well have conceded the 3 points.
The best thing about the game was the 3 points and meeting up again with Simon Hughes. Simon is a great guy who I would love to see more involved at the club. He did mention that he would keep an eye out for potential players as he is playing in some kind of amateur league round Liverpool. Its great that ex players with integrity and intelligence maintain their involvement in the club so only hope that Si keeps in touch. I’m sure he will as he and Pritch get on well together.
Apart from that a game to forget but well done to the lads in grinding out this result on a garbage pitch against garbage opposition!! It won’t be easy against Trafford minus Coops and the influential Sheehan so lets hope our other squad players can step up to the mark. They certainly have already this season but it won’t be easy against a resurgent Trafford team with one of the best midfeild players in the league in Joe Shaw. Onward and Upward with PRITCHMOSEDEEL RED ARMY!!

Mona,Simon’s eldest son and my son are big mates,so i have regular chats about our club.He is over the moon about the start Brian and Mike have made.He has caught the Witton bug and will be turning up at WP but only when Chad sends him free tickets.

Some things never change.
