Well done to the Witton fans...

Lincoln United FC have contacted the Unibond League to comment on the fantastic turnout in fancy dress by the 50-ish strong band of supporters from Witton Albion last Saturday.
They praised the excellent support given which was all in good clean banter and they particularly enjoyed Superwoman!
Their spokesman, Tom Hill said that Witton Albion must be very proud to have such tremendous support and wished WAFC all the best for the season.
His full posting will go into the UniBond weekly newsletter.

Well done to all concerned

Graham

Graham, cheers for that - it was a fantastic number of away supporters. We had 42 on the fans coach, more on the players coach and there were a few more that drove.

Just wanted to echo the comments by saying the fans coach ran like clockwork, left on time and arrived on time, both on the way there and coming back. The behaviour was fantastic. I have not had time to thank everyone as I have been away this week, but it was a fantastic demonstration of a cracking fun day out with zero problems whatsoever. Everyone that went was a credit to the club. I think it really worked getting there a couple of hours before kick-off as there was plenty of drinking time and in fairness to Lincoln very good hospitality.

As a result we will be running more away coaches this season than last year, as the banter was so good.

Thanks again
