What's going on?

I may be a Vic’s fan but Witton’s current form is very upsetting to see.
Where is our rent money going?

Probably paying our creditors and suppliers first and fore most. We are a bit old fashioned like that

It’s a good question.

With a miserly 500 at today’s FA Cup game, maybe you should be asking yourself where the rent money is coming from DDH, rather than worrying where it is going.

Not bothered Longman, non of my business. I just want to watch my club play good football and the highest level possible how that happens is irrelevant as long as we pay our bills and rent to Witton.

More worrying for 1874 though as leas than 100 of those 500 were away fans so maybe the 74ers are coming back to the real Vics!

Paying off creditors is of course the right and honourable thing to do and the way any decent and honest football club should be run. But it doesn’t excuse the board from the shambolic state of the club and the poor decisions that have been made over the last few years which have resulted in us being where we currently are. There are no excuses for that.

After Pritch left last season who would you have appointed? It’s not easy and hindsight is always a marvellous thing. We were up into third in the Prem under Sheens’s caretakership surely he was (at that moment) the right choice…it has spiralled downhill since then and no-one, not one single person, wanted that to happen.

Sheens. I was at Barwell last season when he was given it. I don’t want to see us where we are currently as much as anyone else.

None of what’s happening at the moment can sit comfortably with any true Witton supporter and by true I mean “in their blood”. However, something has to change we cannot keep appointing managers, we have to look surely at the selection process, budgets, development squad, the board make up, discipline and communication. I see clubs around us doing so much better than us and it hurts because we all know that this football club deserves so much better. I just hope that there is someone out there that knows how to put it right.

Do me a favour DDH. How dare you insult Witton fans by saying you are “upset” at their form LMAO

“coming back” do you mean “going back” or are you a Vics fan too?

Maybe your missing Witton fans went to watch the game?

Sorry for my lack of grammer skills i never know if im coming or going which really frustrates my missus but thats another matter!

I was working on the bar for Saturday’s game and speaking to a Vics fan he was amazed how many of the old fans he had seen at the game, several of whom had joined the 1874 revolution but were now back supporting their real team

If I hadn’t have been working, I may have gone too. Our away game was postponed so it was one of the more, shall we say, “more interesting” matches on offer nearby.
