Whitby Town vs Witton Albion.

Witton make the long trip to Whitby Town on Saturday in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Seasiders have had a difficult start to the season and currently sit in the lower half of the table, and are without a win in ten games going into the weekend. They enjoyed an excellent season last time around and narrowly missed out on the Play Offs, finishing sixth and two points behind the fifth placed Tea. Their plight hasn’t been helped by the departures of goalkeeper Shane Bland, who joined National League North Spennymoor Town after playing over 200 games for the club and leading goalscorer David Carson, who recently departed for Morpeth Town. The current squad has a blend of youth and experience, particularly in midfielder Andy Monkhouse who had a distinguished league career with Hartlepool United and will rely heavily on the goals of Matty Tymon. Whitby always provide Witton with a difficult test and there is no reason to suggest that this game will be any different. Kick off at The Turnbull Ground is 3pm.

One we could win today if we get it right and play to our best, Whitby are 18th so we could do with 3 points but no easy games in this tough league, team selection will be tough as well my view on Carls team

Hare
Gards, Brown, Ryan, Devine
Prince, Owens, Foley, Dale
Hopley, Tames

Personally I would like to see Wilson come into 5 at the back and Dale missing out with Prince, Owens and Foley in a centre mid 3 with Gards and Devine providing the width. whatever we select good luck and UTA

Would always find a place for McKenna away from home, so much energy and pace.
WHS.

Looks like Matty Devine is not going to be risked according to the match preview on the Guardian website.
