Whitby Town vs Witton Albion.

Witton are on the road again on Saturday, when they make the long trip to the North Yorkshire coast to take on Whitby Town in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Seasiders have begun the season well winning both of their opening two games without conceding a goal but Witton have a decent record at the Turnbull Ground. Last season 's meetings were very keenly contested and tight affairs with Albion getting the better of their opponents on both occasions. A Michael Wilson goal was enough to separate the two teams at Wincham Park towards the end of the campaign, whilst Witton had to come from behind courtesy of goals from Tom Owens and Rob Hopley on their last visit to Whitby earlier the same season. Tuesday night’s game against Hyde United saw Albion pick up their first point of the season from a game they deserved to win after the opening day defeat. The two performances so far, give Witton belief and confidence that they can build on but Whitby have shown determination and will provide another tough challenge as Albion seek their first victory. Kick off at Turnbull Ground is 3pm.
