All this news about clubs going bust and dropping out of leagues etc could be good news for us. We are still operating albeit in a lower league so lets get cracking and hit the ground running next season. Together we can make a difference so lets back the board and the manager and pledge our support . Put a fiver or more if you can away each week during the summer and pledge it to the Fund.
Eli’s Fund still standing at £200 but I want more so we can beat last seasons £1400.
Just to support Eli’s post - if you can afford it consider chipping in. It doesnt have to be £100’s its a joint effort between everyone to ensure the club performs to the best of its ability.
We(Jim/Len/Neil/Eli) had a meeting with the Chairman and Company Secretary yesterday evening, during which we outlined our aims and objectives for the future development of our Football Club.
They in turn, gave us up to date details of where the club is, in terms of cash flow, loans/creditors and the interest payments which the club currently has to meet.
As always the club could do with more cash coming in(Which club couldn’t!).
We have committed to raise £8,000 to go towards the playing budget for next season, through fundraising activities, donations etc, and as with this season, anything over and above that will be used to assist the club with other expenses.
Very importantly, there are in addition a number of other ways that the club could benefit from supporters if they are able to offer assistance on a larger scale,financially.

Thanks for keeping us informed Andy. I’m glad that we are already getting the ball rolling on the DF front for another season.
Mark Harris has offered the Supporters Team the use of WP for a game in August. Any monies raised from this will go towards the DF, so please do come and support (either by playing or coming to watch!).
Secondly, myself and Adam Clarke will be organising another Pro Evolution tournament for the summer. Details are yet to be finalised - so watch this space! We were very fortunate last year to have a sponsor for the event (thanks Derek!), so if anybody would like to do that this year then please let us know. Again all monies raised will go towards the DF.
Good post Andy - Sorry to keep banging on about pledging but if 100 of us save £50 over the summer months then we are more than half way towards the £8000 - together we can make a difference.
