Witton’s Development Squad are in Mid Cheshire District FA Cup action on Saturday afternoon when they make the very short trip to neighbours Winnington Avenue 94 from The Cheshire Football League Premier Division. The two clubs have met previously on a number of occasions due to being members of the same league but now find themselves playing at different levels. Witton will be looking to progress through to the next round but face a difficult test. The early stages of the competition are played on a league basis. The tie is being played at Park Stadium, the temporary home of Winnington Avenue with a 1.30pm kick off.
