Witton’s U21’s Development Squad look to improve on their showing in their opening game when they travel to Winstanley Warriors on Thursday night in a North West U21’s Development League Premier Division fixture. The disappointment for the management team will have been the way the team folded in the second half after being well in the game at the break.
Being without a number of key players would not have helped Witton’s cause and they can only benefit from the experience and
have to put that behind them now and look to address the problems, they encountered in the first game and hopefully, they will have learnt from them.
Winstanley Warriors started their league season with a 3-1 defeat to Macclesfield FC so both teams will be wanting to put their first points on the board in what will be a tough challenge.
Kick off at Little Lane is 7.45pm.
