This was a great night last year. A great way to have an excellent night, whilst also supporting the football club.
It’s Christmas, so push the boat out and enjoy yourself for the night!!
its the thought of seeing some of the witton fans in their posh frocks, thats putting me off.
This is a very important fundraiser for the club Jim Powell and his family put a heck of a lot of hard work into this event, and as well as being a vital fundraising event it is a fantastic night out.
The live band are awesome, the room always looks amazing and the event is as good as any ‘professionally arranged ones’.
Its an event where you can feel comfortable bringing your friends, family and work colleagues, and is as far removed from WP on a Saturday afternoon as you can get.
Don’t worry about filling a table we can accomodate groups of all sizes, 2 upwards!
Please Support this event. Jim can be contacted during the day on 351250. Or at JP Ceramics, Manchester Rd, Lostock.

Now had you have said Eli’s dancing Toneee, I would have agreed
This is the Saturday before Santa arrives so it is the perfect time for festive celebrations. I would echo the comments above, this is a great night as well as one of the season’s biggest fundraising events, therefore please show your support.
We have only two league home games (including the day of the event) before the night and therefore please plan ahead to get your tickets.
Guaranteed to be a good event.

Trust me, it’s better than seeing some of them OUT of them!!!
Excellent evening at the Winter Ball enjoyed by everyone. Thanks to Jim Powell and his helpers for organising everything and to Pete Jepson for a splendid meal.
The Soul Society were a class act but it was a pity there were not more Wittoners attending.
Yes, well done to Jim for his excellent organisation of this annual event. This is both a good fundraising event and a highly enjoyable evening. Worth attending just for Eli’s annual ‘Strictly Dum Dancing’ performance!
The food was very good as was the service, Pete deserves great credit for this effort, especially given the fact that we had a home game with sponsors to cater for as well as other lunch guests. This almost certainly meant he worked a 16 hour day on Saturday. The quality surpassed the use of outside caterers who themselves set a high standard.
Well done to all.
Sorry its been so long, but thanks to all concerned for making our third winter ball one of the best yet. Big thanks to Pete and staff, food great, service excellent and everyone had a great night especially Alison Powell who won the christmas hamper! Got some photos of the night but have not got a clue how to put them on the website, any help appreciated.
