Witton Albion Women begin their pre season preparations on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Wirral Phoenix.
The team can look forward to the new season, their first in the Premier Division following a tremendous season in the Championship West, where they went unbeaten in securing the title.
They start pre season under new management with Coach Paul Done taking over from Dean Meadows, who has stepped down to undertake a new role within the club.
A number of players from last season have also moved on for a variety of reasons and we wish them well.
The new challenge ahead of the team allows for new players to put their names forward and hopefully, continue the success achieved already
The majority of the squad remains and they will be looking to new challenges and hopefully more success.
As in all football, pre season is all about fitness and experimenting with different things and also getting to know new teammates.
Results become secondary but can go a long way towards building confidence within the squad.

Continue straight onto Whitfield Lane and follow for 0.6 miles. Turn right onto Pensby Rd/B5138 and follow for 217 ft. Turn left onto Irby Road and follow for 0.9 miles. Turn left and continue for 46 ft to Sports Centre. (Total Distance - 37.7 miles).
