Witton Albion Academy v. Brighouse Town

Witton’s Academy team are in action again on THURSDAY, 13th OCTOBER when the welcome Brighouse Town in an ESPFA Northern Division fixture.

The lads will be looking to follow up on their opening 6-2 win at Ossett United last week and get their home campaign off to a winning start.

The squad has a number of players still with them from last season and were missing at least four regular team members from the opening game a week ago, but they have also been joined by new students who are beginning their programme.

We wish them well in their time with us and hope that they benefit from the experience both on and off the field.

Brighouse Town kicked off their season with an eleven-goal bonanza but were on the wrong end of a 7-4 scoreline at home to Mossley, so will be looking to put their first points on the board.

All ESPFA Northern Division home fixtures are being played at the U Lock It Stadium with a 12pm kick off.
