Weather permitting, Witton Albion’s Academy team are scheduled to play Matlock Town (Blue) on Wednesday afternoon in a NPL Football Academy - Joma Division fixture. The fixture has been re arranged following the abandonment of the original game, due to a serious injury suffered by Albion keeper Josh Tyler-Williams earlier in the season. Matlock will be looking to complete the double over Witton following their 3-2 success recently, in a game staged on the 3G pitch in Stoke but Witton have performed well so far and completed a double of their own over Radcliffe Borough in their previous game - another fixture which was switched to Stoke because of the weather. The game is scheduled to be played at The NetDec Stadium with a 1pm kick but this is subject to confirmation.
Please note: Wednesday’s NPL Football Academy fixture against Matlock Town (Blue) has been switched to the 3G pitch at Dimensions Leisure Centre in Stoke on Trent with a 12noon kick off.
