Witton’s Academy team are in action once again on Thursday when they welcome Skelmersdale United to Wincham Park in an ESP Football Academy Northern Division fixture.

Their first outing saw them pick up a useful point on the opening day at home to Ossett United but, they were unlucky not to have captured all three points having a late winner disallowed due to an offside flag.

Skelmersdale were inactive on the opening day so Witton will go into the game with game time behind them and look to build on last week’s result which attracted around 30 spectators.

The game is being played at Wincham Park with a 12pm kick off and supporters are welcome so please give the team your support.
