Witton’s Academy team return to league action on Wednesday afternoon when they welcome Warrington Town in a Joma Division fixture. The two sides met just before the half-term break in a game played at Skelmersdale, a game which saw Warrington run out 5-1 winners. Still sitting in third place in the table and also still in the NPL Football Academy Cup, gives the team a chance to progress further and Warrington Town will as always prove difficult opponents and Witton will be looking to strengthen their position in the table. The game is being played at Wincham Park with a 1pm kick off.
