The Witton Albion Christmas Party is on Saturday 22nd December at Wincham Park.
And what a fabulous night it promises to be!!!
Resident Witton DJ Matt “The Streak” Arnold will be spinning the wheels of steel, with hits from the 60s to date (including some MOR Soft Rock Classics for those of us to like to indulge in a mullet or man-perm).
The main event though is the fantastic classic rock covers band, Slug.
Always popular on the local circuit, these guys can play songs from any era.
There will also be a raffle to be drawn on the night, with the chance to win a bumper Christmas hamper.
So why delay?
Tickets are available from Saturday from all the usual suspects (Robbo, Jim, Neil, Andy Chad, Lenny, etc etc), so drop into the Club Shop to pick one up.
Please don’t wait until the last minute, as we might be sold out!!
This is sure to be an extremely enjoyable Albion social event, so let’s fill the room and zigga-zagga the night away!!
Tickets are just £5 advance - an absolute steal!!!
Gutted the games off today but at least we have the Xmas Party to look forward to tonight
Live band SLUG will be performing classic rock covers and i shall once again be on the Decks playing songs from across the decades, hopefully we will make it as good a night as the Player of the Year awards back in April.
The weathers crap but its sure to be a great night in the club and i promise not to streak mooney
Like Matty says," Gutted the Games off", but at least this will give you plenty of time to shave your bits ready for tonights “Xmas Bash”, as we have had no game Tickets will be available to purchase on the door, with no revenue coming in from todays game the Club(Your Club!) really does need your support, So please get down tonight and make sure that Mid-Cheshire remains our for many years to come, weve also got a nice little addition on the Bar, its the original “Green and White Pot” for you all to “PUT IN”,and Matty,Clothes on, whats the chance of that happening! mooney, See you all later, Yo Ho Ho!!
Have to agree though that there was a lack of support for something which was primarily a fund raiser. I hope people wont be complaining if more players leave.
It was also a shame not to see representation from the playing/coaching staff.
Very good night at WP. Well done to the organisers.
I have to admit it is slightly disappointing that there weren’t any players there, events like this help to pay their wages. Many of them aren’t local though so I don’t think we can be too critical of them.
