Witton’s Development Squad were on the wrong end of a hammering at Moss Farm on Sunday afternoon, as Champions Curzon Ashton Reserves ran in seven goals in the Lancashire League South fixture. Witton were only able to manage one in reply as the visitors proved too strong for them.
Witton went in at the break only trailing by one goal but capitulated in the second half, having a lot of young players in the team and only two subs on the bench, one of which was a Goalkeeper.
