Witton Albion Development Squad 2 Hyde United Reserves 1.
Witton ran out 2-1 winners in their first Lancashire League South fixture since November, by overcoming Hyde United Reserves on the 3G Pitch at Moss Farm earlier this afternoon.
Two goals from first team squad member Jake Parker, gave the Development Squad the points - the second a diving header coming in the last minute after the visitors had equalised with ten minutes left.
The Witton line-up also included Goalkeeper Dominic Garner, along with fellow first team members Kyle Parle & Theo Chrisokhou and a couple of prospective new faces were also on view.
The game was well attended and also had members of the First Team management casting any eye over precedings.
The Development Squad are also at home next Sunday Morning, again at Moss Farm with an 11am kick off ( to be confirmed) and further information will be announced later in the week.
Thank you for that GE, John Salmon was saying something about it being double booked and had indicated the possibility of an earlier kick off but it was yet to be confirmed.
