Congratulations to everyone at Witton Albion’s ESPFA team who have successfully defended their ESPFA North Division title earlier today.
The students beat Skelmersdale United 3-1 at the U Lock It Stadium and with Runcorn Linnets only managing a draw in their game, Witton can no longer be caught.
Witton have one game left to play against Ossett United who are bottom of the table and without a point so far.
They will now go forward to the Grand Final where they will meet Midland Division winners Belper Town in a repeat of last year’s Grand Final.
