Not sure how the voting went with this one? Great that all the fans got to vote, maybe consistent in performances just lacks loyalty 
Well done Guards fully deserved in my opinion with JD Jon Dawson not far behind for his improved displays over the season at full back. Rob Hopley would be up there too if he’d had a full season he’s an awesome player who I look forward to seeing next year. He needs better service though than he’s getting at the moment. Onward and Upward UTA.
Gards was a worthy winner. However I would have voted for Hopley, Gards second, and JD third. Imo Jon was our most improved player, Gards was Mr. Consistency, but Hopley although not there for the first part of the season made the biggest impact. His goals and work ethic was a major reason for us getting away from the bottom of the league.
Unfortunately I was not able to vote. There were no voting slips around the ground and I could not find anything on the web site either. I did hear that you could vote on Facebook but I don’t use it. I have spoken to a few other fans who also did not vote for the same reason.
Unlike previous seasons, nothing had been arranged officially by anyone within the club so it was difficult. It’s the first time ever that I can remember that this has happened in this way. Shortage of time, no voting slips and no presentation evening arranged is a disappointment but it appears that there just wasn’t the interest this year, for whatever reasons.
Anthony Gardner was the only name given to me as regards awards so, I don’t honestly know anymore than that. I hope next season will be different and that we are in a position to arrange things better, even if it means taking it on myself then that’s what I’ll do.
