Witton Albion Reserves vs Club AZ.

Witton Albion Reserves are in action on Saturday afternoon when they take on league leaders Club AZ, in a Crewe District Football League fixture at Moss Farm. The Macclesfield-based side are currently in excellent form and will no doubt provide Witton with their most difficult test to date, having won all four of their opening league games and a very healthy goal difference to go with it. Witton have shown already that they can perform in their first season in the league and have had a couple of decent results of their own so will be looking to impose themselves against stronger opposition. Kick off at Moss Farm is 2pm.

Sorry I could not stay for the second half but the headaches I get from my Shingles arrive when I least expect it and are very painful. From what I saw we have some useful young talent.
WHS.

Unlucky to be behind at the break and we did have chances. Second half was poor from a Witton perspective. Excellent performances from Mazn Amhamed & Daniel Havern. The squad consisted on 10 teenagers - 2 only 16 years of age. The lads just couldn’t cope with the physical aspect of their opponents game.
