One to watch:

Crouch has been scoring regularly of late…but it between the sticks (rather than the sheets) where he will need to excel on Sunday.

Mile-Stones:

Scott Carter should make his 60th appearance for the Team, Si Gregory could make his 20th appearance
Shaun Carter could score his 10th goal for the Team, and Tom Green is just a 4-goal haul away from the 30-goal mark.

How Does This Season Compare To Last:

P W D L F A GD Pts
Then 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1
Now 1 1 0 0 2 1 1 2

Interesting Fact:

On the recent Supporters Team night out, myself and Dann bumped into one of the Dream Team lads in the kebab house. OK, maybe that’s not actually very interesting…

Interesting fact: The dream team lads are all big fans of the green. That’s Cannabis, not V*cs.

Any chance of getting a blue kit 4this season? and a red one if possable:unsure:

As a speckie, this was a very disappointing game.

Dream Team 2 Witton Albion 0

The Dream Team had 2 guys, one a defender and the other a forward who were both far fitter than our guys, and this showed up in the heat.

It was not helped by:

  1. Too much arguing and finger pointing between our own players, once we went behind.

  2. Too much arguing with the referee.

  3. Too much time wasting by the Dream Team which got our bench all agitated.

Hopefully this will be put right for next week, and every player goes out of their way to encourage each other, even if they are having a shitter!

Onwards and Upwards

Match Rating ***

From kick off to final whistle it wasn’t good enough. However, poor performances are not the end of the world. It is how we react to Sunday’s defeat that will count - there is still a long way to go this season.

See you all at training this evening…
