Witton today clawed their way back into the title race!! With KFC only drawing against Northwich United, and Winsford Supporters suffering a shock defeat against Northwich Allstars Witton are now just 3 points off the top with 4 points to play for.

The Albion were nothing short of fantastic today in every area of the pitch. Solid at the back, adventurous going forward. It was no suprise that the game’s opening goal came from the boot of Chadwick - he just loves playing against Sita! A slick flowing move going from back to front, from wide to middle, saw Marshall lay the ball off for Chadwick to fizz one into the bottom corner of the net. Moments later and it was 2 nil, as another flowing move saw green despatch a neat finish. Not even half time, and the game was clearly won.
The second half saw wave after wave of Witton attack, but unfortunately no goals to show for it. Sita did manage to get the ball into the net, but using hand not foot - and therefore it was chalked off by the eagle-eyed referee.
If Witton can win against KFC net week then they still have an outside chance of taking the title.
