Witton Rating ****
Match Rating ****

Witton claimed yet another important win in what is fast turning into a FANtastic season for the Supporters Team.

Aided by an early goal from Tom Green, Witton never really looked in danger of losing this one.

The win keeps them just 1 point behind leaders Winsford, but now stretches their lead over 3rd-placed Tangtastics to 3 points.

The future looks bright for Witton as the fit-again Blundell and Haspell look to be joined by Chadwick, Marshall, and Stuart in the coming weeks. Graham Prew remains the only confirmed season-long injury victim.

A down-to-the-bare-bones squad will be forced to compete with the Dirty Soviets next week, but the future remains bright for at least one of the sides affiliated to Witton Albion.
