Witton Rating ****
Match Rating ****

An avalanche of goals saw Witton close to within 1 point of the top of the league, aswell as confirming a new Club record of 6 straight wins (with only 1 goal conceded during that period).

Tom green should have given Witton the lead earlier on, but the referee incorrectly ruled that Tom has entered the area before scoring (how he could see from 30 yards behind play is anybody’s guess!).

Shaun Carter added 2 more to his goal at WP in the morning,

Jamie Blinkhorn got his first for the Team, Tom Green notched another, and finally an outrageous goal from mike Blundell brought a smile to everyone’s face!!

A good day all round.

From the 6s Website;

The last game of the day saw the team performance of the day, Witton continue to charge to the top of the table winning, 6-0, but again the star man was the man on a mission to keep as many clean sheets as possible, Crouchie.
