Witton Albion Supporters FC 0 v 1 Jacks Hand Car Wash - Sunday 21/10/07

Match Rating ***
Team Rating ***

Played well enough to get something from the game, but just didn’t get that little bit of good fortune.

MOTM - Graham Prew
n/b - Mike Blundell

GK - Blundell 7.25
Unlucky to concede, and had no real chance with the goal. Distribution was once again swift and accurate.

DF - Robinson 7
Didn’t put a foot wrong, and managed to join the attack on occasion. Was clearly struggling for breath towards the end though.

DF - Marshall(c) 7
Restored to a defensive position, and perhaps took a while to settle. Spent the last part of the match playing upfront - unfortunately to no avail.

MF - Green 7
Looked slightly jaded, but found the energy to assist both the defense and the attack when required. Possibly just lacking the final ball.

MF - PREW 7.5*
Tireless display from the skillfull playmaker. Spent large periods of the first half assisting his defense, but managed to provide more of an attacking threat after halftime. Could still afford to pass more often…

FW - Chadwick 7
On a better day Chadwick would surely of provided the quality to earn a Witton win. However, he possibly didn’t receive the service he would normally expect. Has been sent to Wales for a week to rest his ageing limps in time for next week’s cruch clash against title-favorites AFC.

SUB - Scott Carter 7
Scott still flatters to deceive at this level - has the potential to be one of the better players in this league. Surely knows he can achieve so much more if he has the hunger…or puts a bloody foot in!!

SUB - Stuart 7
A fairly dis-jointed afternoon for the loved-up defender. Never really got a settled role in the side, as Witton were chasing the game for most of the second half. Will still be missed net week though.

SUB - Haspell 7 Did his best to hold the ball up in the second half, and almost scored within seconds of his introduction at halftime. May of had one eye on his impending house move, but it was good to see him return to (almost)full fitness.

SUB (GK) - Jones 7
Did well when called upon. Completely flattened a Jack’s attacker who dared to stray into Stu’s area.

Witton 0 v 1 Jacks

Att 8

looks like u were taken to the cleaners !

I am impressed that you could even see never min play football - the pre-evening training was of Paul Gascoigne proportion!

Obviously the side missed my hare-like pace upfront!

;D
