Witton’s U21’s are in action again on Sunday afternoon when they take on local rivals 1874 Northwich in their second Supplemental Cup fixture. Albion began their campaign last weekend with a 2-2 draw at Runcorn Linnets, a game in which they had to battle back from 2-0 down against a strong Linnets side, with Kurtis Pearson scoring both of Witton’s goals including one from the penalty spot. Another tough game is in prospect as “derby” encounters always that little bit extra to the occasion. The game is being played at Moss Farm with a 4pm kick off but due to the current Covid restrictions is being played behind closed doors.
Witton Team:
Jamie McNulty, Adam Forrest, Jak Higginbotham, Kurtis Pearson, Hamish Essa, Akeeme Randall, Louis Haddock, Lewis Unwin, Jay Brennan, Josh Paterson, James Rogers.
Subs: Rob Hughes, Sean Holt, Dylan Jeffery, Tom Jones, Billy Jones.
