Witton’s U21’s Development Squad get their league campaign underway on Sunday afternoon when they welcome neighbours 1874 Northwich in a North West U21’s Development League Premier Division fixture at Moss Farm. The lads have enjoyed an excellent pre season, winning six out of eight games and prepared for the new season in fine style, by beating Oldham-based Avro U21’s by eight goals to two. The opening game of the new league season couldn’t be much tougher but they will go into the fixture in confident mood and hope to continue that form into the new campaign.
