Witton’s U21’s Development Squad are in action again on Sunday afternoon, when they complete their Supplemental Cup Group games with the visit of Manchester-based Abbey Hey. The two group games to date have produced mixed results for Witton with a draw at Runcorn Linnets followed by a defeat to local rivals 1874 Northwich last weekend. The coaching team will have learned so much in those two previous games after what has been a lengthy period of inactivity for the team but will want to end this programme in a positive way. The game is being played at Moss Farm with a 4pm kick and is being played behind closed doors due to the current Covid restrictions.
