It was two wins in a week as Witton Albion U21 Development Squad defeated a strong City of Liverpool side (COL) 4-3.
A first half brace from Tom Jones and a superb clip chip by Dylan Jeffery put the Albion 3-0 up at the break.
A spirited fight back by COL was ended when Tom Jones completed a hat trick from the penalty spot to make it 4-2.
A further COL goal made for a tense last 15 minutes, especially with Cam Meadows missing a late penalty.
A fully deserved win moves the young Albion side up to a healthy mid-table position.
