Witton Albion U21's Development Squad vs Glossop North End.

Witton’s U21’s are in action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Glossop North End in a North West U21 Development League Premier Division fixture. Albion go into the fixture in tremendous form and will be looking for their sixth successive league win against a team who have struggled all season. Having said that, the team can’t and won’t be taking their opponents lightly and will want to finish their league campaign in a positive manner. The Derbyshire side have endured a difficult season and find themselves bottom of the table with only one win but they did give Witton an almighty fright in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, losing by the odd goal in five. Witton are the designated home team in this fixture although it is being played at Alder Community High School in Hyde, as was the reverse meeting. Albion will be confident of continuing their recent good form but Glossop North End won’t just lie down, they will be committed and determined to put on a performance and who knows, if Witton are not on their game anything can happen. Kick off at Alder Community High School is 2pm.
