Witton’s U21’s Development Squad are in action once again on Sunday afternoon when they welcome league leaders Macclesfield FC in a North West U21’s Development League Premier Division fixture.
Albion are still looking for their first league points of the season but they can take some positives from last weekend’s defeat to Stalybridge Celtic.
Despite losing the game and having a depleted squad, Witton created other chances but were unable to make them count and indeed became the first team to score against Celtic this season courtesy of Tom Shone.
Another difficult challenge faces them this afternoon, but they’ll be looking to impose themselves on the game and with that little bit of luck and some quality you just never know.
Kick off at Moss Farm is 4pm and the management team and players would be delighted and very appreciative of any support than fans can give as they look to turn things around.
