Witton’s U21’s Development Squad are in action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Newton le Willows based Vulcan FC in a re arranged North West U21’s Development League Premier Division fixture. Witton can go into the game with renewed confidence following their last outing two weeks ago, which saw them come very close to beating local neighbours 1874 Northwich but were denied by a last minute spot kick. That draw saw them end a run of five successive defeats in all competitions and they will look to build on that performance against a Vulcan side who currently sit second-bottom in the Premier Division, having won just once in their eleven league games so far. Kick off at Moss Farm is 4pm.
