Witton’s U21’s will be looking to put last weekend’s derby defeat behind them when they welcome Winstanley Warriors in a North West U21’s Development League Premier Division fixture on Sunday afternoon. Albion go into the game in ninth place in the Premier Division table having played eighteen league games so far this season. Warriors currently sit in seventh place but have still only played eight games, having won four out of their last five and only lost one league game all season. The Wigan-based club are looking to complete the league double over Witton, following their 3-1 success in what was management team’s Terry Smith & James Kane’s first game in charge earlier in the season. The two sides are currently level on points despite the difference in the number of games played but, the goal difference is heavily weighted in Warriors favour. Witton will be looking to improve on their last outing but they face a tough test against a side very much in form. Kick Off at Moss Farm is 4pm.
