Witton continue their pre season preparations on Tuesday night when they welcome Welsh Premier League opposition in Airbus UK Broughton.
Whilst a pre season friendly, the two teams will also contest the Reg Hardingham Trophy in memory of our late and much respected Vice-chairman.
The Trophy has been contested twice before, the first one back in 2024 when Albion overwhelmed Winsford Town 11-0 in a one-sided affair.
Twelve months ago, Ashton United were the opposition and the Robins won the Trophy on penalties following a keenly-contested game.
The Wingmakers were relegated to Cymru North in 2022/23 and spent three seasons outside the top division, finishing third and runners-up twice being promoted back to the Premier League for the coming season.
Pre season for the Albion has seen them win two and lose two games, the latest a 5-2 win against Runcorn Town behind closed doors at the weekend.
Airbus have played six pre season games already winning four of them, including a 4-2 success over Vauxhall Motors so they will provide Witton with a difficult test
Should the game be drawn after normal time, penalties will decide the winners.
Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 7.45pm.
