Tuesday is a big game for us now after picking up nothing on Saturday.
Forget that the mickey mousers are playing some outfit from the Spanish capital, we need to get as many at Wincham Park as possible on Tuesday night. Frickley’s away support was quiet and it was noticeable.
I know it is not always ‘easy’ to make games, the credit crunch, work, holidays, family outings, decorating projects, bowls matches, flower arranging classes, etc…but, everyone needs to get behind the lads as this is a pivotal point in the season.
On Wednesday night it’s Boston v Prescot and Matlock v Buxton, therefore we need a win on Tuesday to make sure we stay out of the bottom four!
There are 10 league games to play and we need to get behind the team for the run-in.
I could only hear Phil Carter raise any enthusiasm behind the goal last Tuesday - I’ve said it before but its no good spouting on here about supporting the team then going mute at games.
We are in a relegation battle until the end of the season BUT the next 4 games in particular are crucial - and if we can’t be ar5ed then why should the players???
The Development Fund has raised over £10k this season mainly towards the playing budget don’t let this be in vain - we need to be the 12th man starting Tuesday.
Amusing Eli but we all have our troubles in attending games, me as much as anyone (although if I am in the country then I never miss a game).
Chad is right though, we have to be behind the team from the off. Anyone fancy a couple of liveners in the Millhouse around six’ish to lubricate the chords?
Ill do my best to get to the game. Im having pain killing injections in my back on tuesday afternoon.
Ill just have to see how i feel after ive had them.
It`s yet another must win game! I hope to be there shouting the team on to another home win.
No use shouting from Old Trafford for 20 years either!!!
The point is still the same though, we need to get behind the team more, particularly at home games.
The passion that Wittoners have got for the club is amazing, you’ve only got to look at the amount of voluntary work that goes on around the place, and the amount of fundraising that occurs to see that.
brilliant football tonight
and to stop the confusion it was 4-2 to the albs
(and should have been alot more, unfortunatly we had again one of the worst linesman i have seen)
got to congratulate the lazy b*****d for scoring once more at wincham park. was good to see rodders.
