witton albion v buxton

this game is not a priority game, but is the last cup competition we are involved in, so let’s get down to the h4h stadium and show the team that we care. come on and support the boys, a win would be a confidence booster for the league campaign, which is a priority. so come on you reds lets be seeing and hearing you on wednesday evening. come on witton.

Should be a good game and I would defintely try to win it with a strong team if possible, we need to go on a winning streak get our confidence back and also take this into league form and push curzon all the way. up the albs

Don’t forget the Semi Final of the Mid Cheshire Senior Cup next Tuesday. Possibly meet V#cs in the final

I’m told we could get Vics or FC United in the next round so that has got to be an incentive to win this game.
WHS.

Agreed it should not be given as much priority as promotion (nothing like) but nevertheless it is an opportuntioy for our team to play without the shackles of a league game and enjoy the occasion. Its a further opportunity for us to compete against a team in a league higher and a possible lucrative quarter final tie so lets go for it!!! SBL

Through to last eight:

F.C.Utd
Kendal
V*cs
North Ferriby
Rushall
Bradford PA

Other fixture tonight:

Matlock vs Frickley

If we win I’ll take a home draw.

Come on boys! You can do it!!

Buxton appear to have a couple of suspensions according to their website and will bring some youngsters, so a real chance to progress.
The Bucks travel to Witton on Wednesday night for a fourth round match in the Doodson Sport Cup. With Scott Hartley and Kieran Lugsden suspended and Tom Burgin cup-tied, manager Scott Maxfield will shuffle the pack and youngsters Zak Heywood and Jack Bradbury have been added to the squad.

There will be updates from Witton on the Forum.

It has been a busy week at the Silverlands on the player front with several comings and goings. Following the arrival of Burgin and the extension of James Baxendale’s loan, there was further good news with Bradley Barraclough signing a long-loan with the Bucks that will take him to the end of the season. Barraclough has been in great form since signing from Lincoln City with 4 goals in 4 games. Another loanee, Ollie Banks, has returned to Rotherham United following his short term loan and another player departing is midfielder Martin Pembleton whose stay at the club has been hampered by injury. Both players depart the Silverlands with the best wishes of everyone at the club.
That makes us the last div 1 team left then too?
I presume the next round is regionalised?

Any updates tonight?
