Witton begin a run of three successive home games on Tuesday night, when they welcome Congleton Town in the Cheshire County FA Senior Cup Quarter Final.
The Bears are having an excellent season in the Midland Football League where they have a good lead at the top of the table.
The two sides have already met once this season in the Emirates FA Challenge Cup back in August at the Cleric Stadium, when Elliot Rokka’s two goals gave Albion a narrow victory after Daniel Needham had put the Bears in front.
Witton’s recent improved form was brought to an end at neighbours Nantwich Town at the weekend, completing the league double for the Dabbers.
Both clubs began their Senior Cup campaigns in the second round of the competition after receiving a bye from the first round.
The Bears overcame Runcorn Linnets 2-1 at the Cleric Stadium, whilst Witton got through by beating Nantwich Town by the same score at the Swansway Stadium.
A chance to reach the last four in the competition will be the aim for both clubs but, it’s fair to say that they both have higher priorities in front of them.
A difficult game faces the Albion with the Bears current form being so consistent but they will be looking to progress as far as they can in search of silverware.
The game will be finished on the night with penalties deciding who goes through if the scores are level at the end of normal time.
Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 7.45pm.
