Witton are next in action on Tuesday night when we travel to Winsford United to contest The Stephen Wright Memorial Shield - kick off 7.45pm.
A pretty good run out by the lads against a strong Crewe team in both halves, first half nothing between the teams played at a good pace in the heat.
Following changes Witton were overrun a bit but hung on and got 2 equalising goals but keeper errors and misses gifted the win to Crewe who probably deserved it overall.
New signings did ok again, be good to see us settle down to a team soon it does look like we fancy playing a 3 at the back set up with a holding midfielder then 4 in midfield and 2 up top.
It’s a bit radical but let’s hope it works. UTA

We have made the front page of The Non League Paper this morning courtesy of a Karl Brooks photograph.
I think that might be a first for the club, supplemented by a usual good report from Andy Simpson.

All I’ll say is Trialist A is a very familiar face but as he hasn’t signed yet as far as I’m aware, I won’t say anymore until the club announce something.
