Witton Albion v. Crewe Alexandra (PSF)

Witton play their second pre season game on Saturday afternoon when they welcome League Two Crewe Alexandra to the U Lock It Stadium.

Ben Harrison’s team kicked off their pre season with a hard-earned win in a keenly contested game at Barnton on Tuesday night.

Goals from new signings James Steele and Lewis Crane decided the game in Albion’s favour in front of an excellent crowd, but the night was about more than just the result.

Witton’s last meeting with Crewe was back in 2023 when the Alex came out on top in a Cheshire Senior Cup tie at the Mornflake Stadium byy the odd goal in three.

Previous games have seen Crewe provide strong opposition with a mixture of first team players and some of their Youth team, but being a full-time club they will always provide a challenge and hopefully Witton can show their competitive side in what should be an interesting encounter.

Hopefully fans will turn out in numbers to witness an exciting game between two teams who like to play football.

Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 3pm.

Rumours that Crewe are sending a good side! Any news on when season tickets will be ready to pick up?

I believe that Season Tickets are going to be electronic on phones. Phones will be scanned at the turnstiles on matchday.

I don’t think they’re producing actual tickets.

It’s a mixture.

People who bought on the fanbase app will have digital copies on their phones.

Tickets bought by other methods will have physical cards as previous years. I understand that Kev will be printing them tomorrow, but we have lists at the turnstiles so even if cards aren’t ready, purchasers will be able to get in anyway.
